Unscented incontinence products for sensitive skin

Natracare Dry & Light pads are the first of their kind. Made from natural materials for sensitive skin, for light urinary incontinence and bladder weakness. They are absorbent and comfortable.

Incontinence products are used every day, so if you have an overactive bladder and sensitivity, it’s time to go plastic free. The average incontinence pad contains super-absorbents, dyes, and perfume — all of which can irritate intimate skin.

  • Certified organic cotton cover
  • Made for sensitive skin
  • Plastic free
  • No superabsorbent polymers
  • No perfumes or dyes
  • Totally Chlorine Free
  • Biodegradable & compostable

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT

Incontinence and other absorbent hygiene products are some of the worst offenders for causing intimate irritation and soreness.

Research shows that up to a 1/3 of women and people with vulvas suffer from itching and irritation because of contact with synthetic materials, including those used to make incontinence pads.

The Dry & Light Slim pad has a compressed pulp core to effectively absorb without the harsh chemicals. The pads come without wings and stay firmly in place with a non-toxic glue strip. The pads are individually wrapped making them easy to carry around.

Why use wood pulp inside of the pads?

We never use chemically processed pulp (such as rayon aka viscose) or synthetic materials in our pads. Instead, we use fluffed wood pulp in the absorbent core of our pads. Our pulp is sustainably sourced from fast growing, Scandinavian pine trees — which is very absorbent! We mechanically process the wood to make it soft and fluffy — this fibre structure is more absorbent than using cotton alone. Pulp is natural, renewable, and more sustainable alternative than the use of superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) found in most conventional pads. The cover is made from certified organic cotton, and this sits next to the skin, acting as a soft cover to wick away leaks.

How often do incontinence pads need to be changed?

Incontinence pads need to be changed after any significant leaks or every 4-6 hours as needed. It is dependent on you and your body, but incontinence pads should not be worn for longer than 6 hours at a time.

How to dispose of Natracare incontinence pads?

It is possible to compost Natracare incontinence pads at home. If you don’t have a compost bin, Natracare incontinence pads should be disposed of with your regular waste.
