WHAT IS VACUUM FRYING?
Vacuum frying is a process involving machine that pressurises and cooks vegetables with the use of hot oil, but at much lower temperature than traditional frying methods. The whole process is carried out in a vacuum which lowers the water's evaporation point and the food absorbs far less oil. Vacuum frying makes much lower fat, more nutritious snacks without sacrificing taste. We use just 2% Rice bran oil, which is rich in anti-oxidants and also phytosterols (shown to lower cholesterol)
