FAQ's

Why do I need a different lube for the front and for the back?

No two areas are the same especially when it comes to sex. The pH of the vagina, its natural lubricity and skin are very different to that of the anus. By using the right lube you protect yourself against unwanted UTIs and unnecessary discomfort.

Does anal sex hurt?

If you haven’t done this before, it can feel uncomfortable. We want to be honest about that. Our tip is to go slow, use lots of lube. After some practice it can feel pretty great. Use the right lube to make sure you don’t miss out.

How do you have anal sex for the 1st time?

Here’s a few tips we’d want you to know if you’re about to have anal for the first time. Firstly - take things slow. The first time you insert, it may feel a bit uncomfortable. Use plenty of lube, and insert slowly and gently. Then, when pulling out and re-inserting be careful. Make sure that you only take a little more each time, and that you only do things that feel comfortable. For this process, we’d suggest using lube generously to reduce the friction. You’ll get to a point where you’re adequately stretched, and it will feel easier.

How much lube do you need to use?

It’s completely up to you. We’ve designed our lube to create natural wetness. One pump might be enough, but if you want to do more then go for it! If it feels good, you’re doing it right.

Is your lube safe to use with a condom?

Absolutely. It’s water-based, meaning there’s no risk when it’s in contact with rubber.

Will it leave behind a sticky residue?

We know this is a common problem with other lubes, but not for Roam. Our products have been carefully designed to not leave any sticky residue behind when you’re finished.
