Does your Ashwagandha help with sleep?

Yes, our Ashwagandha KSM-66® is very effective at lowering cortisol, thus enabling your body to produce melatonin for better sleep. Cortisol is your stress hormone and blocks your body's production of melatonin, so if you lower cortisol, it allows your body to produce more melatonin, helping you get to sleep and stay asleep for longer.

We also recommend incorporating some stress-reducing techniques such as deep breathing, yoga, getting out into nature and tapping (EFT) to also help reduce stress and anxiety

When is the best time to take Ashwagandha?

There isn't a right or wrong time to take your Ashwagandha. However, if you suffer from poor sleep, particularly if due to anxiety, stress and raised cortisol levels, we recommend taking your Ashwagandha in the evenings, 1-2 hours before bedtime.

Ashwagandha helps lower cortisol, your stress hormone, which can otherwise inhibit melatonin, your sleep hormone, so can be extremely helpful in aiding better sleep.
