Clearspring Japanese Nori is a dried sea vegetable with a distinctive nutty, umami-rich flavour and delicate texture. Traditionally cultivated around the Japanese coastline, the nori is carefully washed, cut into thin sheets and slowly dried to preserve its characteristic flavour and appearance.
Known as hoshi nori in Japanese, these untoasted sheets can be briefly toasted before use or enjoyed as a versatile ingredient in Japanese and Asian-inspired dishes. Use for sushi rolls and rice balls, or cut into strips as a garnish for noodles, soups, salads and vegetable dishes.
