Suggested Use
Twist off the cap and apply liberally to the wound bed, either directly onto the surface or into the cavity. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing. For wounds with high levels of exudate, a superabsorbent secondary dressing is recommended initially. For cavity wounds, apply directly and rinse away with saline solution when changing dressings. Initially increased exudate is normal and should decrease over time.
Important Information
- Monitor blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes during use.
- Do not use if allergic to bee stings or honey.
- Some initial discomfort or stinging may occur and usually subsides. If discomfort persists, discontinue use and irrigate the wound with saline solution.
