Problems in the vulvar region can affect the vagina, and vice versa, so it is important to keep the skin of the external intimate area healthy. Most importantly this means avoiding disturbance of the acid protective mantle as much as possible, i.e. not stripping the skin of its lipids and maintaining the acidic pH at about 5. Sometimes all that is needed is to avoid harmful influences.

Improper hygiene measures can encourage infection, but excessive cleansing can also be harmful to the entire vulvovaginal area.

Dr. Wolff's V-san Intimate Wash Lotion is a particularly gentle wash lotion for cleansing the external intimate area. It maintains the natural protective acid mantle and the presence of chamomile extract can help to soothe the skin. Using Dr. Wolff's V-san Intimate Wash Lotion helps prevent skin irritations and infections in the intimate area.

The wash lotion is very well tolerated and is suitable for daily use to cleanse the external genital area – even with dry skin:

• for all age groups
• even during pregnancy
• also during the treatment of vaginal infections

Mild cleansers clean the intimate area effectively yet gently. Lactic acid ensures a skin-friendly pH of around 5. Therefore, when used, the skin’s natural acid mantle and a healthy protective environment are maintained and supported. The added chamomile extract helps to soothe the skin.

Usage

Dr. Wolff's V-san Intimate Wash Lotion is used like a shower gel or wash lotion. Rinse the area first, then apply a peanut-sized amount of Dr. Wolff's V-san Intimate Wash Lotion directly into your hand, or onto a damp flannel or disposable washcloth and apply to the external vaginal area. Then rinse off.

If using cotton flannels, these should be washed regularly in hot water (60° C). In case of the presence of vaginal infection, use the cotton flannel once only and then wash it before using it again.

Dr. Wolff's V-san Intimate Wash Lotion comes in a bottle with a specially designed cap that only dispenses the correct amount of lotion.
